Ludhiana-Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, along with AAP Punjab In-charge Manish Sisodia, addressed two massive Jansabhas in Ludhiana West today in support of AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora for the upcoming by-election on June 19. The leaders highlighted Arora’s exceptional contributions and the AAP government’s achievements, urging voters to press the 'jharoo' button to ensure continued development.
During his address, Sanjeev Arora reflected on his work as a Member of Parliament, particularly his efforts to improve schools and hospitals. He reminded the people that their vote represents not just themselves but the future of their children and Ludhiana. “It will only take 15-20 minutes of your time to vote, but it will shape the future of Ludhiana West, ” he said.
Manish Sisodia emphasized Sanjeev Arora's dedication and highlighted his remarkable act of raising ₹12 crores to secure a life-saving injection for a child with a rare disease. Sisodia stated, “This election is about choosing a leader who will truly serve the people. Sanjeev Arora is not just a candidate; he will represent Ludhiana West as a cabinet minister, ensuring the constituency’s voice is heard at the highest levels.”
Addressing the gathering, CM Bhagwant Mann praised Sanjeev Arora as a compassionate and hardworking leader. “Arora Ji is a kind-hearted person who feels the pain of the people. Once he becomes an MLA and a part of my cabinet, his power to deliver for Ludhiana West will multiply, ” Mann said. He also emphasized the importance of casting votes for honesty and progress by pressing the 'jharoo' button, symbolizing the Aam Aadmi Party.
Mann criticized opposition leaders for their arrogance and neglect of the public’s needs. He recounted instances of disrespectful behavior by leaders like Ashu, contrasting it with AAP’s commitment to serving the people.
“Our government has brought transformative changes in Punjab over the last three years, ” Mann said, listing achievements such as providing government jobs, clean drinking water, establishing Mohalla Clinics, and revitalizing schools, roads, and hospitals. He assured the people that AAP’s dedication to development would never falter.
Mann urged AAP workers to participate actively in the remaining campaign days by going door-to-door and sharing the achievements and policies of the AAP government with love and humility.
Mann concluded by saying, “On June 19, press the 'jharoo' button with Sanjeev Arora’s photo and come back home. Don’t even look at other buttons, they represent corruption and arrogance.”
