Mohali-On the occasion of the parinirvana diwas of Sahib Shri Kanshi Ram Ji, President of the Misl Satluj Party, Sardar Ajaypal Singh Brar, appealed to the people of the nation to draw inspiration from his ideals and principles and work towards strengthening social equality, economic justice and democratic rights.
Sardar Brar said that Sahib Kanshi Ram Ji not only awakened the socially backward and deprived sections of society about their rights but also inspired them to attain political empowerment.He said that the cornerstone of his vision was that unless people acquire the ability to shape their own destiny and gain political power, the goal of genuine social and economic equality cannot be fully realised.
Sardar Brar said he fully endorsed Sahib Kanshi Ram Ji’s profound conviction that “political power is the master key with which the doors of social, economic and other forms of inequality can be opened.” He said this principle is not relevant to any particular section alone; rather, it remains a powerful source of inspiration for every individual and community striving for equality, dignity, justice and their rightful place in society.
He observed that the relevance of Sahib Kanshi Ram Ji’s ideology has become even greater in the present times. He appealed to people to rise above caste, religious and regional divisions, become conscious of their constitutional and democratic rights, and contribute towards building a society founded on equality, justice and dignity for every section of society, in Punjab as well as across the country.
Sardar Brar said that the greatest tribute to Sahib Kanshi Ram Ji would be not merely to remember his legacy, but to translate his ideals into action by empowering the voices of the weaker and marginalised sections of society and ensuring that they receive their rightful share in social, economic and political life.
