Amritsar-Khalsa College for Women hosted a vibrant Carnival promoting 'Earn While You Learn' initiative today. The purpose was to foster entrepreneurial spirit among students with a grand festivity and also providing them the platform to showcase their talent, said Principal Dr.Surinder Kaur.
Chief Guest at the program Tajinder Chinna said the event marked the exhibition of skills by the students to earn simultaneously when they are undertaking their studies. The festivities commenced with the ceremonial lighting of lamps and the release of balloons, symbolizing the spirit of unity and creativity.
There were diverse stalls, featuring art and craft, including mehndi, nail art, and ethnic suits. In addition to that there were array of food stalls and consultancy booths added to the carnival's vibrant atmosphere. The highlight of the event was the electrifying performances by well known Punjabi singers Dalwinder Dayalpuri, D. Harp, Hussan Sandhu, Tejbir Sidhu, Gurprit Gill, and Joban Sidhu. Their energetic melodies set the stage alive with students enthusiastically dancing to musical tunes.
