Punjab govt to observe 350th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji with Grandeur: Harjot Bains

Chandigarh: The Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has
announced that the state will commemorate the 350th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji
with grandeur. Education Ministers.

Harjot Singh Bains revealed that nationwide programs will be
organized to honor the legacy of the ninth guru, remembered as the ‘hind di chadar’. across social
media platforms like X, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and facebook, sikhs and admirers are sharing posts
celebrating this announcement.

Many are expressing that this tribute to Guru Sahib’s sacrifice will
inspire generations to uphold the values of secularism, human rights, and brotherhood. Events will begin on
October 25 with an ardaas at gurdwara sis ganj sahib in Delhi, followed by a kirtan darbar at Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib. The celebrations will then move to Sri Anandpur Sahib from November 23 to 25, where
over one crore devotees from around the world are expected to gather.

Topic 1: Nagar Kirtans and
national events. The observance includes four nagar kirtans, beginning from Srinagar, Faridkot, Bathinda,
Majha and Doaba, all converging at Sri Anandpur Sahib. Social media users are calling it one of the
biggest faith gatherings in recent history.

posts highlight preparations at Sri Anandpur Sahib. a tent city for 10, 000 people daily, Akhand Path Sahib, sarb dharam samelan (all-religion conference), exhibitions, and drone shows will be hosted,
showcasing Guru Sahib’s message of unity.

Topic 3: Drone shows and heritage street, Punjab will hold its
first-ever large-scale drone shows depicting Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji’s life and martyrdom.
Additionally, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann will lay the foundation stone of a heritage street in Anandpur Sahib. Instagram reels already show youth excitement for this modern tribute. 

Topic 4: statewide
religious programs from November 1 to 18, light and sound shows will be staged in all 23 districts of
Punjab, focusing on the guru and his devoted sikhs, Bhai Mati Das, Bhai Sati Das, and Bhai Dayala Ji.
Kirtan darbans will also be organized at 130 historic charan chhoeh sites linked to Guru Ji.

join or follow the celebrations digitally, making it a truly historic commemoration.
