Chandigarh-Former Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar has said that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal has not only changed his attire by giving up his trademark muffler but has also shed his cloak of honesty and taken a U-turn from his earlier stand on the revision of electoral rolls.
Sharing an old video of Arvind Kejriwal on social media today, Sunil Jakhar wrote that Kejriwal used to claim that electoral rolls were filled with a large number of bogus voters. However, now that the Election Commission is conducting the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), which Jakhar described as a long-established process undertaken by the Election Commission periodically, leaders of Kejriwal’s party have reached the Election Commission’s office to stage a protest.
In his social media post, Sunil Jakhar wrote:
“The Aam Aadmi Party leaders who staged a protest outside the Election Commission’s office in Chandigarh today should certainly watch this old video of their supremo, Arvind Kejriwal. This video dates back to the time when Kejriwal used to wear a muffler and reflects the views he held about electoral rolls at that time.
But now, when the process of revising electoral rolls is underway, Arvind Kejriwal has changed his stance on SIR, just as he has abandoned his earlier ideology, given up wearing his trademark muffler, and changed his attire.”
