Guru Angad Dev Ji strengthened education and discipline, while Guru Amar Das Ji challenged social evils and promoted equality through the institution of langar. Guru Ram Das Ji emphasized seva and spiritual devotion, creating a community rooted in love and humility.
The sacrifice of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the first Sikh martyr, taught the world to stand firm for truth. Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji introduced the concept of Miri-Piri, balancing spiritual wisdom with temporal responsibility.
