Punjab's CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann appealed to the people of Delhi, saying that Delhiites have given a lot of love to the Aam Aadmi Party. It is the people of Delhi who have rooted the AAP in Delhi. The people of Delhi gave 67 out of 70 seats once and 62 out of 70 seats the second time. Such a massive mandate has not been given to any party anywhere in the country. The main reason Shri Arvind Kejriwal repeatedly wins in Delhi is that the AAP focuses on work. “We do not engage in politics of hatred and division. Mohalla Clinics started in Delhi, government schools started. Electricity became free. Pilgrimage for the elderly started, talks of providing ration to every household in Delhi were initiated. We have adopted Delhi's initiatives and implemented them in Punjab, multiplying them two to three times. Today, there are 829 Mohalla Clinics in Punjab and so far, 1.25 crore people have received treatment and been cured without the need to go to big hospitals, ” he added.
Speaking on the treatment being meted out to Delhi by the BJP-led central government, CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann stated that whenever Shri Arvind Kejriwal does something good, the central government puts obstacles in his way. They stopped the medicines for Mohalla Clinics, cut off its electricity. They didn't allow the implementation of the doorstep ration scheme. Government schools were being built, they halted that too. Today, Shri Arvind Kejriwal is fighting alone against the BJP-led central government for the people of Delhi.
“We are repeatedly going to the Supreme Court. The constitutional bench of five judges of the Supreme Court has decided that the services will be under the elected government in Delhi, but the central government has stopped it by issuing an ordinance. This time Delhiites have to decide whether they will vote for those who are stopping their medicines, blocking your children's education and your treatment, and stopping your work. Delhiites should not get water, so they (BJP) have ruined the Delhi Jal Board. Education, health, water, and electricity are fundamental rights of every individual. It is written in the Constitution, and these people are also blocking it. Do these people consider the people of Delhi of some other country? During this time, all seven MPs of BJP in Delhi were only engaged in hurling abuses, ” the Punjab CM mentioned.
CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann said to the people of Delhi to understand that today Shri Arvind Kejriwal is fighting alone against these people for Delhiites. If you give all 7 seats of Delhi to the AAP, then Shri Arvind Kejriwal will have seven more hands. The people of Punjab are going to give all 13 seats to the AAP. Our candidate is going to win from Kurukshetra, Haryana. The AAP is also contesting elections in Assam and Gujarat. We already have 10 Rajya Sabha MPs. When the AAP has 30-40 MPs in both houses of Parliament, it becomes a political force. When our 30-40 MPs come together to fight for the rights of the people of Delhi, no one will dare to stop the work of Delhi and Punjab. The central government has stopped ₹8, 000 crore of the Punjab government. These people call themselves “the double engine government”. Recently, an engine came from Kathua without a driver. Their engines are also without drivers. There are 62 seats in Delhi and 92 seats in Punjab, which is why the AAP government is able to function. If we had 40 seats in Delhi and 65-70 seats in Punjab, these people would have already toppled the government. Himachal is an example of this. Day and night, they only scheme how to buy and defect MLAs.
CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann said that these people (BJP) have sold the country, and have bought more than half of the media and legislators. That's why they feel that without them, there won't be any power. Delhiites are intelligent and educated. Delhi pays the highest tax in the country. The tax revenue should come back to the people of Delhi, but it is not coming. Where is this tax money going? The expenses of their party are no less than a 7-star hotel. The money of the people of Delhi has been spent here, and these people sit here and make decisions against the people of Delhi. We are elected by the people, let these people also come after being elected. This same thing was told to us in ‘Ramleela Maidan’ that decisions are not made on the streets, come after being elected. Let these people also come after being elected like us. These people are not elected by the people, so they buy the elected ones.
The Punjab CM further added that they (BJP) have turned the democracy of the country into a grocery store. We are fighting for the people, and these people are putting our leaders in jail. Shri Arvind Kejriwal has received 9 notices from the ED so far. The ED officials do not tell the reason for calling. It is understood why the Governors and Lieutenant Governors of Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Kerala, Delhi, and Punjab write letters to the Chief Ministers of these states. Why haven't the Governors of Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat ever written letters to their Chief Ministers? These states also have the same tricolour flag. Patriotic people also live in these states.
CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann expressed, “We will come to every household in Delhi with our plans, but these plans will only be implemented when you empower the AAP in Lok Sabha as well, similar to the Assembly. These people are obstructing our work in Delhi, and we need power in the Lok Sabha to get your work done. Even in such circumstances, if excellent work is being done, then with increased strength in Lok Sabha, even better work can be done.”
“My appeal is to vote for the AAP unilaterally this time. The ‘jhadu’ is for cleaning, it clears the political dirt. I appeal to Delhiites not to repeat the mistake of last time and not to elect their (BJP) MPs only to be disappointed later. These same 7 MPs do not let work happen in your area. A Member of Parliament gets ₹5 crores every year for development work. Where has this money been spent? That's why the BJP has cut tickets of every MP. Now, they will give tickets to new people.
