CHANDIGARH- Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has strongly condemned the blast outside the Punjab BJP office in Chandigarh today.
It is a matter of grave concern, he said, adding thankfully no loss of life has taken place.
At the same time, Warring noted, it reflects complete security and intelligence failure for which the onus lies on the Union Home Ministry.
If Chandigarh, the Capital of Punjab, housing two Governors and two Chief Ministers with so much security paraphernalia is not safe, one can imagine the state of rest of Punjab, he pointed out.
The PCC president hoped that the Police reaches the bottom of the matter and looks into all aspects and arrests the guilty at the earliest.
“We reaffirm and reiterate zero tolerance to any such incidents”, he remarked.
