Mohali– The vibrant city of Mohali resonates with the fervor of devotion as former Cabinet Minister, Balbir Singh Sidhu, gracefully participated as the Chief Guest in numerous programs and bhandaras held across various sectors and phases of Mohali. The occasion marked the auspicious Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in the holy city of Ayodhya on January 22, 2024.
Former Cabinet Minister, Balbir Singh Sidhu expressed his sentiments by stating that Mohali stands on par with Ayodhya in its dedication to Shri Ram. His active participation included events at the Phase-9 temple, Phase-3, Gaushala Balongi, Industrial Area 8A, and other key sectors within Mohali.
Acknowledging the secular and inclusive spirit of Mohali's residents, Sidhu emphasized the community's commitment to celebrating festivals from all religions with equal enthusiasm. In light of the profound devotion witnessed among the people, Sidhu announced his intention to write letters to the Union Railway Minister and Civil Aviation Minister, urging them to establish direct connectivity between Mohali and Ayodhya.
Anticipating a surge in pilgrims to Ayodhya, Sidhu announced to facilitate the pilgrimage by arranging a convenient transportation facility to Ayodhya in near future. This initiative aims to assist Ram devotees in their journey to pay obeisance at the revered Shree Ram Temple.
In this convergence of spirituality and communal harmony, Balbir Singh Sidhu envisions a direct and seamless connection between Mohali and Ayodhya through both rail and air ways, fostering a deeper connection between the two cities.
