Jagjit Dhiman owner of M/s Agam Engineers has been given declaration of ‘In Principal Approval’ to set up his business and he got it in record time of six working days of applying for it at the 'Business First Portal'.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (G), Mohali Ashika Jain IAS today issued the Certificate of In Principal Approval under the Punjab Right to Business Act- 2020 to the Mr. Jagjit Dhiman for setting up a Fabrication of Boiler Spare Parts and Other Industrial Fabrication in SAS Nagar.
Highlighting the features of the Act, the ADC informed that under this Act, all the NOC's related to setting up a new enterprise are completed within 15 days after submitting application on the 'Business First Portal'.
She said the Department of Industries and Commerce have taken this new initiative to promote the business in the State besides providing ease of doing business.
She informed that Jagjit Dhiman, owner of M/s Agam Engineers has become the Second Entrepreneur of the District Mohali who has got all approvals within a couple of days of filing the online application. Pertinently, Shamsher Singh Sandhu got the NOC's within 10 days to become the first entrepreneur of the district to get ‘Certificate of In Principal Approval’ under Punjab Right to Business Act-2020
Thanking Chief Minister Punjab, Capt. Amarinder Singh after receiving the certificate of approval Jagjit Dhiman said, “It is really like a dream come true! Hassle free approvals within a few days of submitting application, is all an Entrepreneur expects.”
Voicing the sentiment of the entrepreneurs in the district, he said that this initiative of the Department of Industry and Commerce coupled with positive policies and concessions to the new entrepreneurs will definitely boost the business in state. “Such pro-industry environment in the state is a precursor to an industrial revolution in Punjab, ” said Jagjit Dhiman.
