CHANDIGARH,   Lambasting Modi for jeopardising national security and territorial integrity, NSUI Punjab President Akshay Sharma on Tuesday stated loss of precious soldier lives in Galwan could have been averted had PM woken up from his slumber in time.

PM has blood on his hands, Akshay asserted while speaking to mediapersons after paying homage to fallen soldiers here at Congress Bhawan in Sector 15. Led by PPCC Chief Sunil Jakhar, NSUI Punjab and Chandigarh units had organised a blood donation camp in memory of brave soldiers here today during which over 300 units of blood was collected and handed over to PGI.

This is our gesture of respect and gratitude towards those who made the supreme sacrifice for us while fighting Chinese during Galwan clashes, Akshay Sharma added. PM must answer to the nation, he demanded saying loss of precious lives
was unacceptable. Why our soldiers were not permitted to fire at enemy when they were brutally attacked. Who held them back? Modi must answer, Akshay demanded.

Over 300 units of blood was collected and handed over to PGI, with whose support the camp was successfully organised.

Thanking the PGI doctors and staff, Akshay said their contribution in this noble task is immense. He also lauded the NSUI cadre for their spirit and enthusiasm in getting more units of blood donated by encouraging common people to join the cause.

NSUI Chandigarh Incharge Shoryaveer Kadyan also thanked media and volunteers for their wholehearted cooperation in organising of the event.

Prominent amongst those present during the event included Punjab Youth Congress head Brinder Singh Dhillon, Pradhan Pradesh Congress Committee Chandigarh Pardeep Chhabra, and NSUI Chairman Social Media Manoj Lubana.
