S. A. S. Nagar,
Reviewing the Mission Fateh activities being carried out in the district in a high level meeting of all the departments, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain said that the Mission Fateh is a campaign, of the people, for the people, by the people. So, the success of the campaign depends upon maximum enrolment and engagement of people with the mission.
She suggested engaging people as foot-soldiers to reach the last mile and also asked the officers to carry on mission with compassion and co-operation for molding the mindset of the people. Rather than imposing upon people to wear masks or maintain requisite distance, they are to be guided instead.
The ADC reviewed the Mission Fateh related activities of the various departments and expressed satisfaction at their functioning. She also asked the officers to delegate responsibility and leave the task of carrying out the campaign to their subordinates rather personally supervise it and carry on the work with the missionary zeal.
Bringing home the urgency of spreading maximum awareness to check the spread of novel corona virus, Mrs. Jain informed that the status of the awareness activities would be reviewed personally at ADC level every week.
She was informed that students are being made aware through virtual meetings and online poster making, poetry competitions are being organized to make them engage them with the mission. Besides, individual and group interactions are being held to disperse information through ASHA and anganwari workers as well as GOGs. Youth clubs, NSS volunteers and Residents Welfare Associations and police are also supporting the cause. Municipal Corporation, District Rural Development department and Executive Officers of MCs are also actively engaged in information dissemination.
