Cm greets people on ON EID-UL-FITR



Chandigarh, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Tuesday extended warm greetings to the people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, with a call to celebrate the festival in a spirit of communal harmony, religious gaiety and bonhomie.

In his message, the Chief Minister said the spirit of the auspicious festival which marks the culmination of the holy month of Ramzan epitomises self-restraint, discipline and compassion, is an ideal for all of us to imbibe and follow.

“Let us on this day rededicate ourselves and come together to build bridges of love and affection to create a world that is free of falsehood and animosity, imbibing the spirit of brotherhood that is intrinsic to the occasion, which teaches us the values of compassion and tolerance,” said the Chief Minister.
