New Delhi - Harmeet Singh Kalka, President of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, informed that a special gurmat congregation was organised here with deep devotion and reverence at Gurdwara Baba Buddha Sahib Ji, subhash nagar, to commemorate the sacred birth anniversary of Dhan Dhan Baba Buddha Sahib Ji—the revered embodiment of spiritual wisdom and an exemplary devotee of the guru’s household.
On this auspicious occasion, Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka, accompanied by members of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, attended the congregation, paid obeisance at Gurdwara Sahib, and had the blessed opportunity to meet the large gathering of devotees who had assembled to mark the sacred occasion. The congregation reflected the sangat’s profound devotion to gurmat, its reverence for the teachings of the Sikh gurus, and its enduring bond with the glorious heritage of Sikh history.
Sardar Kalka expressed heartfelt gratitude to the management committee of Gurdwara Baba Buddha Sahib Ji and the entire Sangat for the honour and warm respect extended to him. He emphasised that serving the Guru’s household, propagating the teachings of Gurmat, and preserving the rich traditions of sikhism are collective responsibilities shared by all.
He further stated that such religious congregations inspire devotees to strengthen their connection with the teachings of the sikh gurus and to incorporate the fundamental principles of sikhi into their daily lives.
