New Delhi -Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka and General Secretary Sardar Jagdeep Singh Kahlon said that an important meeting was held here yesterday with the office-bearers and members of the DSGMC to review and finalise preparations for the concluding programmes dedicated to the 350th Shaheedi anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.
Both dsgmc leaders said that these historic commemorative programmes would bring the sangat together to pay homage to the unparalleled sacrifice of the Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, while inspiring devotees to imbibe in their lives the guru sahib’s timeless message of humanity, religious freedom, courage and unwavering faith.
Both said that the supreme sacrifice of Guru Sahib remains an eternal source of inspiration for the entire humanity and guru sahib profound teachings continue to illuminate the path of standing steadfastly for human rights, religious freedom and truth.
Sardar Kalka and Sardar Kahlon said that the DSGMC was making level best all necessary arrangements to ensure that these historic religious programmes are organised with utmost devotion, dignity and reverence. They added that every effort was being made to provide proper facilities and a smooth experience to the large number of devotees expected to attend, so that the programmes are conducted in accordance with the sacred spirit and profound legacy of Guru Sahib’s unparalleled martyrdom.
