New Delhi-Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka said that the birth anniversary of Bhai Lalo Ji, the devoted and hardworking sikh of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, will be commemorated on a grand scale by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Gurdwara Sri Bangla Sahib.
He disclosed that, a special meeting was held here today with a delegation led by S. Sukhdev Singh Riat, President of the All India Ramgarhia Vishwakarma Federation (Regd.). He said that during the meeting, detailed deliberations were held on organising Bhai Lalo Ji’s birth anniversary with devotion, dignity and enthusiasm. Harmeet Singh Kalka said that Bhai Lalo Ji’s simplicity, honesty, dignity of honest labour and unwavering devotion to Guru Sahib continue to serve as an enduring source of inspiration for humanity. He said that the life of Bhai Lalo Ji stands as a living embodiment of Guru Nanak Sahib’s timeless message of Kirat Karo, Naam Japo and Vand Chhako—earn through honest work, meditate on the Divine Name, and share with others.
He appealed to the entire sikh sangat to attend the programme at Gurdwara Sri Bangla Sahib in large numbers on September 27, draw inspiration from the life and teachings of Bhai Lalo Ji, and receive the blessings and spiritual joy of Guru Ghar.
