New Delhi -President of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee Harmeet Singh Kalka, and general secretary Jagdeep Singh Kahlon, said that an automatic self-service machine has been installed at the gurdwara Bangla Sahib, , with the objective of enhancing convenience and ensuring better services for the sangat. The new facility was formally inaugurated after ardas.
Harmeet Singh Kalka said that with this machine, devotees will now be able to obtain karah prasad tokens quickly, easily and conveniently on their own. He said the facility will save devotees from having to stand in long queues for obtaining tokens and will also help save their valuable time.Both leaders said that a large number of devotees from across India and abroad visit Gurdwara Bangla Sahib to pay obeisance. Keeping in view the growing footfall of sangat and their need for greater convenience, the DSGMC has been continuously undertaking initiatives to streamline service arrangements via the effective use of modern technology.
Both leaders said that ensuring greater convenience for the Sangat and making services at the Guru Ghar more efficient, transparent and accessible remains a key priority of the DSGMC. The installation of the Automatic Self-Service Machine is yet another commendable step in this direction. They said the Committee would continue to embrace technology and undertake such initiatives in the future to further improve service delivery and provide maximum convenience to the Sangat.
Kalka and Kahlon said that the foremost objective of the DSGMC is to ensure that every devotee visiting the Guru Ghar receives seamless, well-organised and respectful service, without facing any inconvenience or difficulty.
