Dr. Depinder Kaur, a distinguished educationist and retired principal with extensive experience in teaching, administration and academic affairs, has assumed charge as Academic Member of the Punjab Educational Tribunal.
The Punjab Government, through an official notification, has appointed Dr. Depinder Kaur to the post for a three-year term.
After assuming charge, Dr. Depinder Kaur expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Education Minister S. Harjot Singh Bains for reposing their faith in her and entrusting her with this important responsibility. She said she would discharge her duties with the highest standards of integrity, dedication, impartiality and diligence, while making every effort to live up to the confidence placed in her by the Punjab Government.
Dr. Depinder Kaur assured that she would perform her responsibilities strictly in accordance with the rules, regulations and instructions issued by the government from time to time. She said her experience in the education sector would help her contribute meaningfully towards addressing issues concerning teachers and students and strengthening the overall education system.
She further said that she would remain committed to promoting necessary reforms in the education sector and ensuring that matters coming before the Tribunal are dealt with fairness, sensitivity and due diligence. Her foremost objective, she added, would be to make a constructive and meaningful contribution towards the advancement of education and the welfare of the academic community.
