Chandigarh- Bharatiya Janata Party Punjab has taken a major digital step to take its organisational activities and public-oriented initiatives to the people. During a special programme, Punjab BJP State President Kewal Singh Dhillon launched the party’s official WhatsApp channel. Punjab BJP in-charge Narinder Singh Raina, General Secretary Organisation Manthrii Srinivasulu and Social Media Convenor Ajay Arora were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Dhillon appreciated the party’s social media initiative and said that the WhatsApp channel would enable people to connect directly with the party’s activities through their mobile phones. He said that the channel would provide people with the latest information on the party’s daily activities, organisational decisions and public welfare schemes of the Central Government directly on their mobile phones.
He said that with the resolve to take Punjab on the path of progress, party leaders have appealed to the people and workers of the state to connect with the channel in large numbers. He said that greater digital engagement would further strengthen the party and help take Punjab forward on the path of progress and development.
