Chandigarh - The birth anniversary of Bhagat Puran Singh, founder of the All India Pingalwara Charitable Society, Amritsar, was celebrated with enthusiasm at the Palsora branch of Pingalwara in Chandigarh. The occasion began with the recitation and culmination of Shri Sukhmani Sahib and bhog.
This was followed by a blood donation camp organised by the team from Dr BR Ambedkar Institute, Phase VI, Mohali, and a medical camp set up by the Five Rivers organisation. The blood donation camp was inaugurated by the Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary, Legal Services Authority, Chandigarh, while the medical camp was inaugurated by Pingalwara’s dedicated volunteer and retired ADGP Jatinder Singh Aulakh, alongside P.C. Jain.
