Chandigarh- Haryana Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that the younger generation is getting lost in mobile phones, television, and computers. To ensure that they grow up healthy and on guard, it is important for them to reduce their screen time on mobile devices and TV.

Sh. Vij was speaking as the Chief Guest at the “Bhavishya Jyoti Samaroh” event held in Ambala to honour the district’s meritorious students last evening. He felicitated 125 top-performing students from various schools and also announced a contribution of Rs.10, 000 for each student from his discretionary fund, totaling Rs.12.50 lakh.

Sh.Vij said that mobile phones have helped make society more informed, they have also brought some negative effects. He said that we need individuals and communities that can help shape good character and guide others in a meaningful direction so that people can live fulfilling lives and support each other.

He appealed to everyone to limit their use of mobile phones and social media, saying that overuse is affecting our health. While it’s important to benefit from technology, we also need to be aware of its side effects as well.
