Chandigarh - Haryana Chief Minister . Nayab Singh Saini has approved increase in the ceiling rates of Interlocking Paver Blocks. The decision will not only speed up development projects in the state but will also enhance the quality of work. This will ensure early completion of paving works and repair of ‘phirnis’, lanes and roads of rural areas.
Giving information, a government spokesperson said recently, a delegation of sarpanches met the Chief Minister and demanded increase in the ceiling rates of Interlocking Paver Blocks. The Chief Minister took immediate action and directed the officers to take steps in this direction.
The Chief Minister has now approved to increase the ceiling rate of 60 mm (M-35) Interlocking Paver Block from Rs. 9.35 per block (without GST) to Rs 10.85 and the ceiling rate of 80 mm (M-40) Interlocking Paver Block from Rs 11 per block (without GST) to Rs 12.57 per block.
After the new rates are fixed, the work of paving and repairing of lanes, roads etc. in the rural areas of the state will be expedited.
