Jalandhar-Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday held a meeting with the businessmen, small shopkeepers and traders of Jalandhar city and shared his views with them.

During the program, Chief Minister Mann also openly discussed with the traders about their issues and problems.  He solved most of the problems of the businessmen on the spot and assured them to solve the rest of them soon too.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann appealed to the small shopkeepers and trade circles related to various occupations of Jalandhar to support the Aam Aadmi Party in the by-elections and asked them to elect Mohinder Bhagat as their MLA with a large majority and send him to the Vidhan Sabha.  Mohinder Bhagat will be given the post of Minister, so that Mohinder Bhagat can solve the various problems faced by the people of Jalandhar on priority basis.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann during the conversation with the businessmen listened the problems they were facing and assured them that now there is no need to worry at all, because now the people in Punjab have their own government of the Aam Aadmi Party.

Mann said that the business sector has a very important contribution in making Punjab strong in terms of progress and economy.  The problem of unemployment can be eliminated only with the development of industries.  The revenue of the state can also increase only through industry and trade.  Mann said that we are fully committed to solving the problems of businessmen.

Bhagwant Mann said that since the Aam Aadmi Party government has been formed in the state, many talented people of Punjab have come back to their country Punjab from abroad and are starting new types of businesses here.  He said that in the previous governments, the businessmen were asked for share, due to which they left Punjab either to go abroad or to other states, but now there is an honest government in Punjab, which has taken concrete steps to make the businessmen even stronger.
