Samadhan Shivir will be organised on every working day, officers will listen to issues for two hours, directs CM

Chandigarh- The Haryana government is now prioritising the resolution of public issues related to government departments. For this, ‘Samadhan Prakoshth’ in the Chief Secretary’s Office has been established to resolve the public grievances. This ‘Prakoshth’ will organise ‘Samadhan Shivir’ in each District and Sub-Divisional headquarter every working day from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM to resolve public grievances. The senior officers from district administration and police will be present in these camps, said the Chief Minister, Sh.Nayab Singh while listening to public issues at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi.

He said that the government is taking prompt action to resolve issues and will strive to address any problems related to government departments.

The Chief Minister said that issues will be resolved within a specified period by organising ‘Samadhan Shivir’ at each district and sub-divisional level. He said that the ‘Samadhan Prakoshth’ will oversee the operation of camps throughout the state. He said that the district administration will submit a daily report to the ‘Samadhan Prakoshth’ in the office of Chief Secretary with respect to number of complaints received, disposed off, number of pending complaints and reasons for such pendency. This report will then be forwarded to the Chief Minister.

He said that the Chief Secretary will hold meeting of the ‘Prakoshth’ with the Administrative Secretaries to resolve the policy issues being faced by the general public in the implementation of various public welfare schemes of the Government and issue necessary directions through the District Administration to remove the bottle-neck in the implementation of the scheme.

Sh. Nayab Singh said that in these ‘Shivars’, Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police/ Deputy Commissioner of Police (HQ), Additional Deputy Commissioner, District Municipal Commissioner, Sub Divisional Officers (Civil) (HQ) and SDO (C) and Deputy Superintendent of Police and other Officers in independent Sub-Divisions in the district will sit together daily in Deputy Commissioner’s and SDO (Civil) office and resolve Grievances of Public.

Errors in Property IDs and PPP will be corrected at the district level

The Chief Minister said that hearings to rectify errors in Property IDs and PPP Cards will be conducted at the district and sub-division levels and these mistakes will be rectified. These camps will primarily address issues related to land registry, obtaining NOCs, making ration cards, ration distribution, crime-related complaints, electricity, irrigation, public health complaints, and social security pensions such as old age pensions, disability or widow pensions. Additionally, any other issues within the administrative scope will be addressed, he informed.
