VFS Global has completed the highest level of the KPMG People Maturity Model (PMM) assessment, Level 5 (Innovative), making it the first visa services company to do so.

KPMG conducted a rigorous assessment and awarded the certification. The PMM certification demonstrates the organization's commitment to continually improving people process maturity and practises in line with the organization's business objectives.

KPMG's PMM incorporates several elements that cover the most recent trends in HR system process maturity and practises, with an emphasis on enterprise-level improvements. In 2019, VFS Global received the People Capability Maturity Model (PCMM) Level 5 appraisal.

VFS Global attained the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Service Excellence maturity level 3 in 2018, demonstrating the organization's emphasis on work quality.

The PMM Level-5 certification attests to VFS Global's well-established set of human capital management practises, which ensure we attract, develop, motivate, organise, and retain the required talent while guiding and assisting them in establishing an excellence culture.

The newly obtained PMM certification reinforces the organization's commitment to sustainability, which is supported by a strong workforce and an extensive network. VFS Global employs over 8, 000 people in over 140 countries through its Visa Application Centres and offices. VFS Global employs 116 nationalities worldwide, providing the benefit of a diverse range of perspectives. We have also maintained our gender balance at VFS Global, with a female: male ratio of 58:42 at the end of 2021.

The company is still committed to engaging, upskilling, and improving its workforce policies, practises, and capabilities in accordance with its business performance and objectives.

Nirbhik Goel, Chief Human Resources Officer, VFS Global, said, "Our people are the organisation's biggest strength, and receiving the Carnegie Mellon CMMI PCMM 5 certification in 2019, followed closely by the KPMG PMM Level-5 certification this year, is further encouragement to keep upskilling and strengthening our workforce across the globe, keeping our people and practices at the centre of all our business initiatives. We thank KPMG for their support and guidance through this process and congratulate our employees on the hard work they put in every day, which results in our unwavering success as a business."
