Amritar:Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has strongly criticised the statement made by S. Baljit Singh Daduwal regarding the election of office-bearers of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC).
SGPC assistant secretary media S. Kulwinder Singh Ramdas said that it is in the prerogative of the Director, Gurdwara Elections to conduct the elections of DSGMC and not of the President, SGPC.
He said that S. Daduwal is demanding resignation of SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami by relating the incidents during DSGMC President elections with him, just to remain in the news.
“He is intentionally trying to tarnish the reputation of SGPC President Advocate Dhami but the Sangat knows Daduwal’s reality”, said S. Ramdas.
S. Ramdas said that everyone knows that those were Sarna brothers, S. Manjeet Singh GK and their supporters who did squabbling in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib but S. Daduwal is giving baseless statements in this regard.
He suggested S. Daduwal to remain in his limit and not to mislead the Qaum (community).
