Mumbai, Nov 3 (IANS) – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch a powerful campaign for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections, scheduled for November 20, by addressing a series of 11 rallies across the state from November 8 to November 14. His rally circuit aims to boost BJP’s election momentum and energize supporters as the campaign heads into the final stretch.

According to Maharashtra BJP Chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule, PM Modi’s first rallies will be held in Dhule and Nashik on November 8, followed by Akola and Nanded on November 9. Additional rallies are scheduled in Chandrapur, Chimur, Solapur, Pune, and Navi Mumbai, with a concluding event in Mumbai on November 14.

In parallel, Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to hold approximately 20 rallies, while Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address around 22 rallies, and BJP Chief JP Nadda 13. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, who is from Maharashtra, plans to lead 50 rallies, and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will hold around 55 rallies to reach a diverse electorate across Maharashtra.

The BJP’s campaign will highlight the welfare achievements of the MahaYuti (BJP-Shiv Sena-Ajit Pawar’s NCP) government, such as the Ladli Behna Yojana, an electricity waiver for over 44 lakh farmers, and 58 public-benefit initiatives. BJP leaders have emphasized the importance of a "double-engine" government for sustained development and growth in Maharashtra.

The MahaYuti alliance faces the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition, which includes Shiv Sena (UBT), NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), and Congress, both vying for control in the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly.

The assembly polls have intensified as both alliances prepare for a strong finish, underscoring key issues and commitments in Maharashtra’s political landscape.
