Amritsar-A team of educationists from Belgium visited the Sri Guru Teg Bahadur College for Women (SGTBCW) for first hand experience of imparting professional education to the women. The delegation was headed by Christine Jaminon and she was accompanied by Anupam Christine. They explored possibilities of setting a unique practical system of education in collaboration with the College, said Principal Nanak Singh.
He said they interacted with the students and faculty members and chalked out modalities involving various aspects of such a collaboration. He said earlier another European Visitor came to College and they were led by Marie Markwick and Angela Jouanneau from London. They were on a historical cum spiritual trip and thus landed in the holy city of Amritsar, "They were highly impressed with the value-based education and visited Golden Temple for paying obeisance", said Nanak Singh.
