Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal today expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the party rank and file for their efforts in favour of joint panthic and SAD- BSP candidate Kamaldeep Kaur Rajoana in the Sangrur by-poll voting for which took place today.
In a statement here, the SAD president also thanked all panthic organizations as well as the cadre of the Bahujan Samaj Party (SAD) in reaching out to the people in favour of Biba Rajoana. He said the SAD was committed to securing the release of all Bandi Singhs who were languishing in prisons even after completion of their jail terms.
Mr Sukhbir Badal also thanked the people of Sangrur for their support to Bibi Rajoana’s candidature and well as expressing solidarity towards the joint cause of securing the release of the Sikh prisoners.
