AMRITSAR:The hockey team of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) defeated Ghummanhera Raisers by a huge margin of 1-4 in the National Games being held in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).
On the victory of the hockey team, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Bibi Jagir Kaur congratulated the hockey players and the sports department of the SGPC and hoped that the players of the Shiromani Committee would continue to thrive.
Bibi Jagir Kaur said that the SGPC was making continuous efforts to promote sports.
While hockey teams are being prepared, players are also being prepared in other sports.
The Sports Department of the SGPC is continuously working for this purpose. Meanwhile, the Deputy Secretary of the Shiromani Committee Mr Tejinder Singh Padda who is overseeing the sports department also congratulated the players on the victory of the hockey team.
