Federer, Nadal lead recognitions for Djokovic after twentieth Grand Slam win

London:  Swiss expert Roger Federer, Spaniard Rafael Nadal and a few present and previous tennis greats hailed world No. 1 Novak Djokovic for winning his 6th Wimbledon title and twentieth Grand Slam crown generally at the consecrated Wimbledon place court.

By winning the title on Sunday in the wake of beating Italy's Matteo Berrettini, the Serb favorite joined Federer and Nadal, the other two individuals from the Big Three, as the players with the most number of Grand Slam singles titles in the Open Era.

Federer, the victor of eight Wimbledon titles, was among quick to wish Djokovic, saying, "Well done Novak on your twentieth major. I'm pleased to have the chance to play in a unique time of tennis champions. Awesome execution, very much done!"

Nadal, who lost to Djokovic in the French Open elimination round this year following an overwhelming four hour and brief fight tweeted, "Congratulations @DjokerNole on this astounding accomplishment. 20 Grand Slam titles is tremendous and unfortunately we are 3 players tied on this. All around done and, once more, well done to you and your group for this!@Wimbledon."

Tennis incredible Billie Jean King asked the Serb to proceed with his grand structure and win the Olympic gold. "Congrats to @DjokerNole, 6x #Wimbledon champion! He's basically the awesome, flourishes with pressure. The Golden Slam is as yet in his sights. Following up: the Olympics."

Incredible tennis player Rod Laver, victor of four Wimbledon titles during the 1960s, tweeted, "Congrats Novak. Stunning accomplishment, you are en route to a Grand Slam. Matteo, you played a fabulous competition and I have no uncertainty your opportunity will come."

India's cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, tweeted, "Extraordinary win @DjokerNole! Numerous congrats on winning the @Wimbledon and your twentieth Grand Slam title. In spite of a moving beginning and setting aside effort to discover your notch, you battled on and took your game to a higher level. Outright hero mindset to win this one."
