Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has greeted the people of Punjab on the auspicious occasion of the Pargat Divas of ‘Adi Kavi’ Bhagwan Valmiki Ji.
In his message, the Chief Minister eulogized the saint-poet for his immortal composition - the Ramayana, and exhorted the people to adopt the teachings contained in the great ancient epic poem.
Underlining the importance of the preachings of Bhagwan Valmiki, as contained in the Ramayana, the Chief Minister urged the people to follow the path of truth and goodness shown by it.
The Chief Minister called upon one and all to celebrate this sacred occasion in a spirit of amity, peace, brotherhood and joy.
