Chandigarh - The Punjab Governor & Administrator, UT, Chandigarh Sh. V.P. Singh Badnore has tested negative while Sh. J.M. Balamurugan, Principal Secretary to Governor tested Covid positive and has been home quarantined.
According to the official spokesperson of Punjab Raj Bhawan, a two day Covid testing exercise with Rapid Antigen Test was carried out at Raj Bhawan in which total 336 persons including security personnel, officers and staff members were tested for Covid-19. Besides Sh. Balamurugan, four others were found to be asymptomatic positive.
All precautions including sanitisation of the entire Raj Bhawan and safeguarding the official premises have been taken as per the health advisories, protocol and doctors' advice.
